PTE Preparation

Score the way
the test marks you.

PTE Academic is computer-based and scored by an algorithm. That changes what a high-scoring answer looks like — and it can be learned. All four skill areas, on the real format.

The real problem

You're answering
for the wrong marker.

There is no examiner in the room. PTE is scored by an algorithm with rules about fluency, pronunciation and content — and most people lose points to the machine, not to their English.

You pause, and it stops scoring

Hesitate mid-sentence in Read Aloud and the algorithm hears a break in fluency. A confident wrong word often scores better than a careful silence.

The timer doesn't wait

Forty seconds to describe an image, ten seconds to prepare. Without a template ready before the screen loads, the recording starts without you.

One weak task drags three scores down

Speaking and Writing are scored together, and Listening tasks feed your Reading score. Practising each section on its own leaves marks on the table.

What you walk away with

A method for
every task type.

PTE repeats the same question types every sitting. Once each one has a structure you can run without thinking, the exam stops being a surprise.

  • Templates for Describe Image, Retell Lecture, Summarize Written Text and the essay
  • A pronunciation and oral fluency routine built for how the test listens
  • Re-order Paragraphs and Fill in the Blanks, drilled to speed
  • Full-length mocks sat under real conditions on the real format
  • A clear read on which task types are costing you the most points

Learning gives you the knowledge. Practice gives you the confidence.

Curriculum

12 classes.
In order.

Each class takes a group of task types and drills them on the real format, until the structure is automatic and the clock stops mattering.

01

How PTE is scored

The four skill areas, how tasks feed more than one score, and what the algorithm actually rewards.

02

Read Aloud and Repeat Sentence

The two tasks that carry the most speaking marks, and the fluency habits that protect them.

03

Describe Image

One template that fits bar charts, line graphs, maps and process diagrams — spoken in forty seconds.

04

Retell Lecture and Short Answer

Note-taking that survives the clock, and answering in the seconds you're given.

05

Summarize Written Text

One sentence, the right length, with the grammar the scoring needs.

06

Essay writing under the clock

A twenty-minute essay structure, and the range and accuracy that lift the score.

07

Reading: multiple choice and blanks

Reading and Writing Fill in the Blanks, and why the multiple-choice negative marking changes your strategy.

08

Reading: Re-order Paragraphs

Finding the opening sentence and the chain of links, fast, without reading everything twice.

09

Listening: Summarize Spoken Text

Notes to summary in ten minutes, with the word count and structure the marker expects.

10

Listening: the short tasks

Highlight Correct Summary, Highlight Incorrect Words, Write from Dictation and the rest.

11

Pronunciation and oral fluency

Stress, rhythm and pace — recorded, scored and corrected, because this is where most points are lost.

12

Full-length mock, then the fixes

A complete test under real conditions, then a breakdown of exactly which task types to work on before you book.

How it runs

Classes to learn.
Practice to improve.

The same method as every VocaPath course — because it's the part that makes a skill stick.

STEP 01

Join your live class

Small groups on Google Meet, at the timing you chose. Small on purpose — everyone records and writes, every session.

STEP 02

You practise on the clock

Every class runs real task types at real timings. The countdown stops being a shock long before exam day.

STEP 03

Your recordings come back marked

Send your speaking and writing between classes and get specific notes on fluency, pronunciation and content. Not a grade — a fix.

Questions

Before you enroll.

Should I take PTE or IELTS?

Check what your university, employer or immigration authority accepts first — that decides it more often than anything else. Where both are accepted, PTE suits people who type comfortably, want results quickly and prefer a computer to an examiner. IELTS suits people who would rather speak to a person. Ask us and we'll talk it through for your situation.

Do I need a computer?

Yes. PTE is taken entirely on a computer, so you should be practising on one — typing your essays, recording through a headset, working the same interface. A phone is not enough for this course.

Do templates really work?

For several task types, yes — the scoring rewards clear structure, and having one ready means your thinking time goes on content instead of shape. They are a starting frame, not a script: a memorised answer that ignores the question scores badly.

How fast are the results?

PTE Academic is known for quick turnaround — most people get their score report within a few days of sitting. Pearson publishes the current timeline when you book.

What score will I get?

Nobody can promise a score, and you should be careful of anyone who does. What we can do is show you where you're scoring in a full mock, tell you honestly how far that is from your target, and drill the task types costing you the most.

Is the exam fee included?

No. The course fee covers the preparation. The PTE test fee is paid separately to Pearson when you book your date.

What are the class timings?

Three options: 6:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM. You pick one when you message us and get the exact schedule once your payment is confirmed.

How do I enroll and pay?

Message us on WhatsApp. We share the account details, you pay the fee and send the payment screenshot. Once we confirm it, you get your schedule and Google Meet link.

Is the fee refundable?

No — fees are non-refundable once your seat is confirmed. Batches are kept small and your place is held for you, so a seat given up late cannot be filled. If you are unsure the course fits you, take the free assessment or message us before you pay — we would rather answer your questions first.
